Everyone’s favourite modern Stone Age family is now immortalized in the LEGO Ideas 21316 The Flintstones set. This new and nostalgic 748 piece-set features The Flintstones’ house and iconic family car, the footmobile.
Measuring 6-inches wide by 4-inches deep by 4-inches high, The Flintstones Bedrock LEGO home features a removable roof for easy access to the inside. Other design elements include a front door that opens, sofa, TV with antenna, telephone, coffee table, floor lamp, curtains, a wall painting, and a crate containing Fred’s bowling ball and pins.
The set also includes landscaping features: a buildable palm tree, mailbox flower pots with plants, and two clear milk bottles. Minifigures include Fred and Wilma Flintstone and their best friends, Barney and Betty Rubble. They can double-date in the brick-built facsimile of the Flintstones’ car. Checking in at two-inches wide by four-inches deep by two-inches high, the car includes four minifigure seats, two steamroller wheels, and a nifty fabric roof. An attachable dinosaur rib, made famous in the show’s closing credits, is also included.
