LEGO Brick Sketches

LEGO is launching a new product line, Brick Sketches – two-dimensional, brick-built stylized portraits of popular licensed characters.

Brick Sketches are built by layering coloured plates, bricks, and parts onto a 12″ x 16″ base plate. Completed sketches can be displayed in one of two ways: standing or hanging. The back of each sketch includes a retractable stand for desktop display, while a 2″ x 2″ coupling plate is included to hang the sketch on a wall.

The first four announced sets include two Star Wars characters: BB-8 (40431) and First Order Stormtrooper (40391), as well as two DC Superheroes: Batman (40386) and The Joker (40428). Brick Sketches will launch on the LEGO Store in July for $19.99 USD each.
