Kohl Children’s Museum – Glenview, Illinois

Although Kohl Children’s Museum in greater Chicago is temporarily closed due to COVID-19, the Museum’s online resources make its website a great place to visit. Here are a few of the elements that captured our attention.

Kohl Kids Live!
Each week, the Kohl Kids Live! program gives a virtual peek at one of the museum’s many interactive exhibits and a curator shows people at home how to do one of the experiment.

Home Zone
Home Zone encourages experimentation and play with activities that include paper airplane construction, mask making, paper making, and STEAM-based activities.

Story Time
The Museum hasn’t forgotten those who like quiet activities. With Story Time, kids can sit back and enjoy a story read to them by museum staff or by other kids.
