House of Marbles – Bovey Tracey, England

The House of Marbles is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of marbles and intrigued by the craft of marble making.

The exquisite museum is dedicated to creating awareness of and appreciation for the storied history of marbles and the art of marble making. Visitors can take a self-guided tour, stopping to marvel at the many large-scale marble runs, glass blowing studio, and colourful interactive marble displays. No museum would be complete without a gift shop, of course. The House of Marbles offers a fascinating array of hard-to-resist glass marbles, as well as glass puzzles and games available for purchase.

The House of Marbles is located in what was formerly the Bovey Tracey Pottery Company, and has an on-site restaurant. Admission is free.
