The Hornby Hobbies Visitor Centre showcases the rich history of the Hornby model railway line of products and associated brands.
Visitors to the centre learn about the early days of the company, production techniques, and evolution of Hornby and its many subsidiaries, including Corgi, Scalextric, Pocher, Lima, Airfix, and others. Visitors take the wheel through interactive displays, such as the working model railways, and Scalextric race tracks. A product retrospective demonstrates Hornby’s continuous evolution as a leading hobby company. The displays include rare collectibles that will be of interest to informed hobbyists. The Pocher display hall is a museum-quality exhibit that features assembled diecast metal automobile kits.
An on-site store offers visitors a chance to shop the brands.
