Social knitting groups can now imbue their needles with some Harry Potter magic thanks to the release of Harry Potter Knitting Magic: The Official Harry Potter Knitting Pattern Book.
The deluxe guide contains 25 authentic Harry Potter knits inspired by the iconic films. Each project is pictured in full-colour photography and includes yarn suggestions based on each film’s colour palette. Patterns run the gamut from beginner-friendly Hogwarts House scarves and mug cozies to the more complex projects like Mrs. Weasley’s Christmas sweaters, the Chamber of Secrets Knit Beanie and the Order of the Phoenix Lace-Knit Throw Blanket.
The book’s 192 pages are also filled with fun facts, original costume sketches, film stills, and other behind-the-scenes looks at the cast and cinematography.
Harry Potter Knitting Magic is available for pre-order from a variety of online resellers for a cost of $29.99 USD. Fans will be able to practice their knitting wizardry when the book drops in late January 2020.
