Open to the public since 1998, the Gadsden-Pacific Toy Train Museum in Tucson, Arizona, offers visitors a variety of toy-train layouts, displays, and exhibits. Spanning more than 6,000 square feet, it includes eight operational model train layouts in a range of scales, including G gauge, standard gauge, S gauge, HO gauge, N gauge, and Z gauge.
Visitors get to operate the trains and accessories throughout the museum by pushing buttons associated with each display.
The museum is run entirely by a group of dedicated volunteer toy-train enthusiasts. In addition to the ever-changing indoor layouts, a series of events include an annual train trade show and swap meet in November, and a Polar Express Night every December. A variety of toys and souvenirs are offered in the onsite gift shop.
The Gadsden-Pacific Toy Train Museum is free to the public.
