Airing on MeTV, the television series Collector’s Call features personal collections amassed by enthusiasts of pop culture, toys, music, and more.
Host Lisa Welchel from Facts of Life fame takes viewers inside the homes of collectors to showcase the enthusiasm, effort, and love that goes into collecting. Collector’s Call offers a rare glimpse into collections that often go unseen by the masses. Collections include that of Winnie-the-Pooh, the band Kiss, and The Wizard of Oz (Toy Tales interviewed the same collector – Walter Krueger – in an edition of Collector Spotlight). The show travels throughout the United States to discover unique collections and the people behind them. Collectors featured on the show have their collections appraised and are offered the opportunity to trade one of their beloved items for another object of value offered by Welchel.
