Center for Puppetry Arts – Atlanta, Georgia

The Center for Puppetry Arts recognizes the wonder and art of puppetry and creates an environment for visitors to discover this magical world.

Opened 1978 by puppeteer Vincent Anthony, the Center quickly established itself as an authority in the world of puppetry. Along with permanent exhibits – including a retrospective of the work of Muppet creator Jim Henson – the Center offers special exhibits, entertaining live shows, and educational programming for children and adults alike. As one of the few organizations in the world dedicated to puppetry, the Center skillfully undertakes the task of building awareness of the artists, storytellers, and puppet masters who played an integral role in ushering puppetry into the mainstream.

The Center is located in midtown Atlanta, making it easily accessible for visitors. Hours and pricing packages can be found on their website.
