The Building Brick Waffle Maker from Cucina Pro puts a whole new spin on playing with your food!
The Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for this kitchen appliance quickly eclipsed is modest $7,500 funding goal and Cucina Pro is standing by its planned August 2020 shipping date (with the obvious caveat that the date could slip given the Coronavirus upheaval). According to the online specs, each unit is ETL certified and made of PFOA-free Teflon.
Prototypes of the waffle maker reveal a unique cooking plate that produces 14 pre-cut waffle pieces in three different sizes at one time. Each serving includes ten 1″ x 2″ bricks, two 1″ x 1″ bricks, and two 1″ x 4″ bricks. Each includes studs on top and tubes on the bottom that mimic their plastic counterparts and allow individual pieces to be securely interlocked.
Kickstarter pledges start at $50 USD. Recent add-ons include quantities of construction plates and an Official Guide to Waffle Brick Building.
