Japanese specialty manufacturer, X-Plus, is once again amplifying the work of stop-motion animator, Ray Harryhausen, with its Bubo the Owl statue honouring the 1981 cult classic, Clash of the Titans.
The vinyl model stands nearly 12-inches tall, matching the scale of the original puppet used in the film. In addition to its gold colouring and ruby-red eyes, Bubo features 8 points of articulation, including moveable wings, legs, and head. A deluxe version of the action figure includes an additional 1:6 scale Bubo statue with extended wings.
Bubo the Owl is slated to ship in August 2022 and is available for pre-order from online retailers. The Bubo Standard version is priced at $249.99 USD, while super-sizing to Deluxe will set you back $274.99 USD.
