Initially published in 2015, ARTCADE featured four decades of arcade marquee and cabinet art. The follow-up release, ARTCADE Extended Edition, expands the number of featured vintage coin-ops to 300 across 356 pages.
The new edition includes additional side-panel and cabinet art sourced from collectors and professional restorers, giving readers a more complete representation of each cabinet. Feedback from fans of the first edition led to a new format for the book, too. Now, each image gets its own page and no pictures run across the spine. This layout emphasizes the detail, colour, and contrast of each restored image.
While the art remains the primary focus of the Extended Edition, written content is also included, such as exclusive interviews with designers and a look at the magic behind coin-op cabinet restoration.
