The Hot Wheels Legends Tour winner for 2021 – a 1969 Volvo P1800 Gasser – is immortalized in a 1:64-scale die-cast model.
Named “Ain’t No Saint”, the winning Gasser is restored and owned by Lee Johnstone of the United Kingdom. Johnstone’s vehicle competed against entries from 11 countries in the first-ever international edition of the tour. “Ain’t No Saint” was announced as the winning vehicle in the fall of 2021 and a prototype of the Gasser die-cast was unveiled on April 11 in a ceremony at the members-only Classic Car Club Manhattan with Johnstone in attendance.
This is the fourth winner of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour. Previous years’ honorees were the 1970 Pontiac Firebird (2020), THE NASH (2019), and 2 Jet Z (2018).
The fifth annual Hot Wheels Legends Tour is underway with international events planned through November 2022.
