Super7 has a new 2001: A Space Odyssey collection of figures that lets fans of the iconic Stanley Kubrick film proudly express their fondness for the film.
Released in 1968, the feature film took viewers on a journey rich with intrigue. The sparse dialogue, commanding score, and trippy production deepened the mystery of the film and earned an enthusiastic fan base. Super7, purveyors of pop culture collectibles, launch a new series of figures this season in homage to the epic film.
2001: A Space Odyssey ULTIMATES! Figures include four individual sets representing Astronaut Frank Poole, Astronaut Dave Bowman, Dr. Floyd, and the Moon Watcher. A complete set of four is also available. Each seven-inch figure is packaged with two interchangeable heads, interchangeable hands, and other character-specific accessories. The three astronaut figures are depicted in either a red (Dave), yellow (Frank), or grey (Dr. Floyd) spacesuit.
Individual sets check in at $55 USD. The complete collection costs $220 USD. Pre-orders close Friday, October 22. The figures are expected to ship in the autumn of 2022.
